Meet Our Team

Andy Peterson
Andy has been a Red Seal technician for more than 25 years. He apprenticed at KEAN Auto Services & attended Camosun College in Victoria for his apprenticeship training, graduating in 1999. Later he went on to a GM dealership and received years of manufacturers training. Andy returned to KEAN Auto where he is now the shop foreman/manager. Growing up, Andy loved playing hockey, whether it was ice, street, or rollerblading. Andy and his wife of 25 years (Meredith) have 5 children together. When Andy is not spending time with his family, he will probably be reading. Andy was born in the Comox Valley and has never moved away.
Payton Peterson
Payton was born and raised in the Comox Valley and is excited to join the KEAN Auto team. Payton brings his outgoing personality and combines his love of people with his ever-expanding knowledge of vehicles and technology. In his spare time, Payton enjoys playing classical piano and spending time outside doing various activities including hiking and camping.
Len Bowes
Len has lived in Oyster River with his wife since 2004. When not at work (where he’s always smiling), you can find him on the open sea enjoying the Cruise Life one port at a time. Looking for a car guy to give you that "Peace of Mind" while driving? Stop in and say hi…and don’t forget to ask him where to go for the best ice cream! You will “LOVE” it!!
Colton Hintz
Colton Hintz grew up in the valley and now has started a family of his own with 2 beautiful girls with his loving wife. With over a decade of experience in the automotive field, he enjoys the challenge of diagnosing vehicles and working on anything interesting. In his free time, when not with his family, he dabbles with a few hobbies like craftsmanship, music and games.
Nathan Johnson
Nathan grew up in Powell River B.C. & is a very enthusiastic person that loves working on vehicles and learning about them. He enjoys hiking, downhill mountain biking and anything sports related. Nathan moved to Vancouver Island to be more involved with his church. Nathan is currently enrolled as a red seal apprentice and is looking forward to advancing his automotive knowledge.
